The Slovak National Museum - Museum of Hungarian Culture in Slovakia and the Grendel Lajos Civic Association jointly launched the Grendel Lajos Project, and set up the Grendel Lajos Memorial Room in the building of the Museum. Visitors have the opportunity to see the writer's personal objects, photographs and film recordings about him, while it also serves as a reading room, which offers literature from various social sciences and where part of Grendel's own library and music collection is also accessible. The project also aims to archive the estate, research the work and preserve the spiritual legacy of Lajos Grendel. Also to organize conferences and discussions and involve schools through museum pedagogy.
